Built in the visual language of extreme metal, this design takes one of respiratory therapy's most fundamental acts—ventilation—and makes it deliberately dark, tangled, and difficult to read.

You have to look twice.

That's kind of the point.

For the RTs who've seen some things, learned to function comfortably in the uncomfortable, and developed the particular sense of humor that tends to come with it.

Why We Made It

Critical care can be ugly.

Respiratory therapists work unusually close to some of healthcare's most intense moments, and eventually that changes your relationship with things other people find frightening.

V3NTiL8 doesn't try to make that experience inspirational or pretty.

It wears the darkness comfortably.

Wash cold, inside out.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Don't iron directly over the artwork.

The shirt can look brutal. The laundry cycle doesn't need to be.
